I attended this show when Stephen Marley and the Ghetto Youths Crew came to the legendary 930 Club in Washington, DC on July 14, 2011 in support of his newly released Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life. It is no secret that I am a massive Stephen Marley fan, and have been for nearly 25 years. The last time I caught him live was in 2007 on the Mind Control tour at The Norva in Norfolk, Virginia. Needless to say, Stephen always brings the heavy roots. This performance is no exception. I have presented it here for you in lossless format (FLAC) – an amazing audience recording.
The band played for over two hours as Stephen hosted onstage a revolving cast of his children, his sister Cedella Marley, Javaughn, Jonathon, and Mr. Cheeks all of The Ghetto Youths Crew, and Spragga Benz, who’s high energy stage presence was a mainstay of the show from “Iron Bars” onward. The music went uncharacteristically late for 930 Club, as the show lasted until nearly 1am.
‘Nuff thanks to travelinbeat for recording, transferring, and seeding this show.

Editing: Tracking, slight low-end roll off, normalization to -0.1dB (each channel normalized independently), and fades were all done while the show was laid in Sony Soundforge 8.0d (Build 128) as a wav file. Periodic short loud peaks were enveloped to allow for more headroom in normalization.
